I'm the proud owner of a Radeon 9600 All-In-Wonder card and I can watch TV on my monitor. My question is, am I able to record a TV program or movie onto my hard drive with this card to later burn to a DVD?

You need DVR (Digital Video Recording) software for the PC. The most common application I know of is ChrisTV.

I've had an All-In-Wonder, 8500DV all-in-wonder, 9000 all-in-wonder, 9700 all-in-wonder pro, and 9600 all-in-wonder xt. They all came with software to record tv. you can record directly or use the tv guide plus to program future recording. No additional software needed. Editing, however, needs additional software. The last 3 cards I bought came with that additional software (Pinnacle, which I don't use). I use "mpeg2vcr" to remove commercials. See lord smurf for advice on ati's settings for best recording.
