Video Card Upgrade Suggestions

I have a 6800 gt ultra and it plays most games great. I just got Farcry and MOH Airborne and after playing awhile they seem to overheat the card as the graphics get distorted and I have to turn off the computer for a few minutes. Would upgrading the card eliminate this problem and what would be a good card around $250 or so? I have a P4 3.2 2 meg ram win xp and the video card will be agp. Thanks

 

You coulld get a better card, or cool your current setup better. Clean the dust out of your case and see if that helps.
If it does not, try playing the game with the side panel off the computer and have a fan blowing into the case. If you have no problems, you need better ventilation in your case (more case fans).

You might also look into an aftermarket cooler for your video card.

best AGP card currently is the x1950XT. its pretty cheap too, under $200
