Alright. So I plan on upgrading the RAM and video card on this computer in order to play Starcraft 2. (Needs at least a GeForce 6600, I have a 6200 TC)

Its running Windows XP Media Center Edition with DirectX 9.0c

I found the RAM i needed but I don't know what video card will work because all of the new cards are DirectX 11 and such.

So I'm just wondering, will a DirectX11 card work on DirectX 9 and also, what is PCI Express 2.1 x16 and 2.0 x16 etc.

My computer has a PCI Express x16 but I don't know what the 2.0 is for.

    Thanks a bunch.

Don't worry about the specs as they are backwards compatible to your PCI-E 1.0 slot. As long as your game is supported in XP then you're fine.

Should also consider you power supply as well depending on the video card that you get.
