Video Card with pixel shading?

I recently bought some games that tell me my onboard graphic card isnt compatable with them they say i need a graphic card that supports Pixel Shader 2.0 or Greater. How do i find out what kind of graphic card i can use in my pc? I also need to know how to disable my onboard one once i get the new card.

"agp" video cards... and you can delete the old integrated card drivers with any driver cleaning software (there are a few right here on majogeeks and on google)

 

You have an AGP X8 motherboard so your looking for an AGP video card with pixel shader 2.0 or 3.0 support,any AGP card above the nvidia 5200 model or the Radeon 9600 will be fine.

You will have to make sure you have an extra molex connector and a decent power supply if you choose one of the higher end models,it really depends on what games you want to play,what CPU you have and how much you want to spend which will narrow down the ideal card.

Thank you. I also have one more question whats the differance between AGP 8X and AGP 4x would both of those types work? or just the 8x. Im just a bit confused because the specs on my computer box says it has a AGP 4x slot and you said i had an AGP 8x motherboard. Sry if i sound like an idiot asking more questions i dont wana buy the wrong card lol.
