video card..

well i got a Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller (factory) anyway today i installed a update for it hoping my fps will become higher when playing counterstrike but it went lower.. how do i uninstall the update for the video card?

what video card should i get for my comp? it a compaw presario 6350CA i dont no if it AGP or PCI .. but if i get a new video card (200-300$) will my fps be better ?

 

Just look in the documentation or look at the motherboard and figure out what it is. It can be looked up online but it's a pain in the ass.

Putting in a better video card will most likely get you a higher FPS. It won't cure lag though, also remember if you're getting 60fps or above you've already got all you're going to notice, you can get a higher frame rate and it won't make any visual diffrence.

As for a card anything in the Geforce 5xxx line or up or an ATI 9800 and up would be able to run CS at all the highest settings and still have a nice frame rate.
