video card?

HP zd7000 is the video card made in the mother or can I replace it?Thanks

 

I think thats a laptop and if so it is rather unlikly that the video controler can be changed.

 

yes it is a lap top, been having problems with a black screen for a while now ,just replaced the monitor cables tonight,still no luck thanks anyway

 

Are you connected to an external monitor?

 

I`ve been working on this for about a month (been waiting on parts),at first if you hooked it to a tv it would work fine...some times the monitor wold come on and everything would be ok until you closed the lap top then it wold be a black screen again but would work with the tv.Yesterdaty the parts came so I changed the monitor cable...still no monitor but now it wont even work with the tv...could the battery for the bios cause this?I`m scratching at straws now really don`t have the cash for a repair shop...any ideas? Thanks

 

The only thing i can think of is to check and see if your laptop's warrenty is still good.

 

no warranty...expired

 

The only other thing i can think of now is to call up hp's tech support.
