I read online somewhere that video cards rarely (if ever) draw more than about 12amps, but this was before the NVidia 9 series came out, about 2 years ago :)confused I think). So- what's the status now? How accurate is this statement with today's modern video cards? And how would someone find out how many amps their video card pulls?

    Thanks.

On Oct30, on the Major Geeks front page there was a link to a power supply review and the reviewer said this:
He was talking about the GeForce 9600GT XXX AlphaDog from XFX.... can anyone confirm or deny this????
