    whuddayall think?
    128mb Radeon 9800 AGP
    >OR<
    256mb Geforce FX5700 AGP
I'm currently running the Geforce; should go with the Radeon? Would I notice any increase in performance or would I lose performance due to the drop in video RAM?

You already have both the cards? If so, I'd suspect a slight increase with the 9800, actually. The GeForce 5 series was lacking compared to the radeon 9600 and 9800 series, with the exception of the GeForce 5950, which arrived much later in the game.

Also, it will depend on the game, and how much RAM you have. Just be sure to completely remove the drivers before switching back and forth between cards.

Yeah, I have both cards. A friend gave me his old Radeon 9800 and I'm really partial to NVidia stuff, but I guess I'll try the Radeon and see what happens. I have 1.5gb DDR400 on XP Pro SP2, 250gb SATA2 HD....
