so what is better this

or RADEON 9800 PRO 256MB AGP + FREE SHIPPING (299$)

is there some where i could see some benchmarks comparing the two. since they are basically the same price i will have to decide which one to buy between them

 

Personally, I'd go with the Geforce since it's a newer card.

Here is a link comparing graphics cards on Far Cry. They did not test it on a Radeon 9800 Pro, but the 6800 performed about equal with the Radeon 9800 XT. (which is the faster Radeon 9800 Pro)

9800pro 128mb is in the 190$ area currently...

 

If you play games at higher rezz's read Tom's article carefully.
One of the gamers here sent a 6800 back because of the flashing borders in his inventory. It would also add lines or textures that were incorrect. The card was fast and stable but he returned it.
He may be picky, but the 9800 pro or XT does not have that rendering problem.
A driver update may fix the 6800 and the 5800 does not have the problem, but why take the gamble?

 

just a question, was he sure it was his video card because i haven't heard of anything like that hapenning. And also the 6800 will really out perform the radeon 9800 pro 256MB card and the 6800 geforce only have 128 MB.
