video chat

my friend has a webcam... but i do not know wich application to use, i am anti-microsoft, i use windows 98 se with no aditional applications installed (0 chosed in the "what you want to install" option) all updates, etc. so i have no msn or netmeeting

but i was looking for a application that could record the chat, can anyone tell me any ? i mean... record what i view to a file, you know what i mean.
