Video clip whle audio continues

help.... When downloading a video clip from anyones e-mail... once video starts no matter how long or short the video is... the video side quit and the screen goes black... yet the audio portion of the clip contiues until clip is completed. If i were to replay... all i would get is audio and video... does this no matter if I download to hard drive or open from e-mail.... same results

 

What type of clip, .wmv, .avi, .flv?

You are probably missing a necessary codec. I recommend getting a good codec pack like K-Lite; once installed you should be able to play most video types.

Another option is to use the VLC media player. It has codecs built in and should play your videos with no problems.
