Video Converting Software

I need a freeware program that will convert mpeg-4 to AVI. Help me plz!

You do not have to install software on your computer, simply try this site: Media-Convert.com for online conversion of video and audio files, as well as presentations, documents, spreadsheets, etc.

There is a freeware program called Super by eright.

 

Media Convert says the file is too large (it's a movie) thanks for your help though

Oh yeah... the programs I listed above are free. If you don't mind paying, check out WinAVI. It will convert just about anything (video) to just about anything else (also video) as long as you have the codec installed. WinAVI was the only app I found that will convert RMVB files to DVD (and did it fast!).

 

I am thinking of getting a mac but i am a little worried about not being able to conver dvd to ipod. can anyone suggest a free software i am short on cash.

 

You should start your own thread instead of piggy-backing on someone elses. You'll get better (and faster) results.
With that out of the way, I have no idea of ANY software for a Mac. I don't use a Mac, have never used a Mac. I thing that Majorgeeks has a Mac forum; you should post there.

BTW- if you're short on cash, how can you buy a Mac? They are VERY expensive! Maybe that's why you're short on cash (No offense intended)
