I'm using a ViewSonic pivot screen that did not come with the computer. I'm also using Windows XP Pro if that matters.

When I click: Control Panel, Display, it says, "Display: View Sonic VP191b and GeForce Turbo Cache."

When I click: Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Device Manager, Display Adapter just "nVidia GeForce, 6200SE" is displayed.

When I click: Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Device Manager, Monitor, it says: ViewSonicVP19b

Does this mean I have two video drivers on my computer? As far as software to pivot the monitor, I don't see the ViewSonic software. I only see the nVidia. I've used the nVidia to pivot to portrait view and back to landscape. I don't see the ViewSonic software to do this in Programs or in the Control Panel.

The reason I'm asking is I've been having problems with the monitor. I have two permanent what I call "ghost images" of two programs very faintly it seems like permenently burned into the screen. I have issues with sometimes closing something and temporarily having a white spot where the image used to be. This goes away in about five seconds. I have issues with leaving too many programs open at one time. I have to minimize them if I'm not using them or they lock up. One time though I even minimized everything, left for lunch, came back with the star bursts (screen saver) and the desktop both on the screen and everything was locked except the mouse. I couldn't reboot by clicking "start" and "turn off computer". I had to shut the power off.

My husband installed the monitor and he's no help right now. I can't ask him what he did or ask him to help. I'm on my own.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    You did mention that. ;>)

Here's the main support page from the monitor manufacturer. User guides are available, drivers/Utilities, etc.

There are ~seperate~ drivers for your View Sonic monitor and your Nvidia display adapter. The adapter delivers the (visual) computer output to the monitor.

Post back with your results and/or further questions.
