I have a 2006 nvidia 6100sm-m2 motherboard and run onboard video on windows 7. My video output is 1096 megs and i use 4 gigs of ram. I get a hardware error. Whenit started i got a bluescreen and my computer restarted then i got all these weird lines stating everything was locked ,cannot open file. Since then it works but im not sure what to do. If anyone can help, I sure would appreciate it.

    Thank you

Too vague. If you want help, you have to post exactly what you are seeing.

0x00000116 is a common error and can be quite difficult to fix:
Ensure that you have the latest version of drivers for the graphics from nVidia. No good? - try older driver versions/check that the machine/graphics card isn't too hot.

Thanks everyone for the responces. I do believe that my motherboard is just plain ole "ancient" to todays age (2006) the drivers i found were from 2006 and microsoft cannot find any new ones and nor can nvidia unless i spend money on a pci-e card . The bluescreen was only a 1 time occurence and has since stabilized ,i just have to use it on applications thwat wont have more than 64m of video memory as my computer mimiced 64m>>>>1096m. For now it works ok ,just thought i could do something to prevent this in the future.

Don't look to MSFT/Windows Update for updated drivers as they're likely to have been superseded already by those from nVidia. The GeForce 285.58 WHQL Driver should work for you, it was released October last year.
