    Hello,

I'm having difficulties with running videos from sites, such as Youtube, Veoh, Megavideo (or any video sites you can think of). When I try to watch these videos, the video is very choppy and lags behind the audio. You may question that it might be the video that is the problem. However, if I run the same video on another computer, there is no lag whatsoever. This problem I'm having only occurs with this specific computer. I would say about 90% of the videos that I play have this problem.

I have tried using different web browsers, such as Firefox (v.3.6.12), Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome. Every browser has the video lag. Also, I have the latest version of Adobe Flash player.

Things that I have attempted so far:
    - Going through "about:config" and changing the "browser.sessionstore.interval" to 600000 (from 100000 originally)
    - Reinstalling adobe flash
    - Reinstalling Firefox
    - Playing videos in HD (which really slowed things down)

Does anybody have a solution to this problem?

    Other Info:
    - Currently running Windows XP Professional SP3
    - Adobe Flash 10.1
Can provide other relevant info, if necessary.

    Thanks!

It could be that your computer is too memory loaded.. ie. too full to load smooth video.

Also, has this always been a problem or only recently?

try and install K-Lite codec pack and restart your computer.

    Download [ K-Lite Codec Pack 6.5.0 STANDARD ]

It's been like this for a while. But it's really starting to piss me off lol. I'll give the k-lite codec a try, and I'll let you know how it goes.

Btw, I already have xvid. Do you think I should uninstall that before installing k-vid codec? Thanks!
