Video memory usuage?

    I would like to be able to monitor how much memory on my video card is being utilized.Would someone be kind enough to tell me how I would go about doing that. I am running XP-Pro and using an ATI Rage video!Thank you!

    Thank you-no games, just getting weird video effects on the monitor. Fade in fade out etc.
