I was wandering if the video card performs the same when displaying on a TV SCREEN to a normal pc monitor, does the card use more power for a tv screen will a video card last longer if I use a normal pc monitor rather then a 60 cm tv ???

it should depend on what resolution your video card is set to display. if it is a higher resolution, then it will require more video card resources

It depends on the TV how it will perform, if it can't handle the frequencies the card is outputting, it will look like crap! Best way is just to try it.

The card uses the same power, whether it's fitted to a TV or a monitor - they both have their own power sources.

And what it is attached to has no bearing on how long it will last, so no it won't last longer attached to a monitor

Shouldn't have any bearing, as a general rule of thumb always set the refrsh rate at 60 Hz, and for best picture set the Tv to the native resolution...
