I have a problem with Video Playback....Motion Blurring. While playing any Video file, the fast action scenes, it has motion blurring. I'm using VLC Media player and Windows Media Player. Any suggestions for getting rid of this problem?

You have a graphics chip, rather than a separate video card the 256 MB shared means it shares RAM with the motherboard. Since the Gateway comes with 4GB of RAM, that should not be a problem.
I found this comment from an owner.
So, turn off Aero and see if the video is smoother.

    Hi plodr,
Thanks for the info you gave me. I shut off Aero and am now using Basic. I played the video file again and it still has motion blur. I gess I just have to stick to playing DVDs instead of video files. TYVM for all your help. It's greatly appreciated.;)

what video settings is it currently set for? (resolution/refresh rate) and what kind of monitor are you using? If you are able to play dvd's without a problem, then maybe the vid files just are that clear?

    Hi thesmokingun,
TY for replying. I think you're on to something about the videos are the problem.
It's not that they aren't ...clear...but they have ...motion blurring...in the fast action parts. I found that they are filmed at 25 FPS. I think that may be the cause of it. What do you think?
