    All of a sudden my PC, o/s xp, video playback is flickering rather than a smooth video!:cry

    Hi

    Try first of all updating/re-installing your video card drivers.

    Do you have any codec packs installed, if so what one/s? (codec packs are a collection of various audio and video playback codecs that allow various file types to play the noteable packs are K-lite and Sharks Codec pack versions for Vista and Windows 7, the Vista one works for XP too).

    As ist all of a sudden have you installed or updated any application or driver of late?
