Hey, i have been having this problem for some time now. Whenever i play something (not always) the sound is there but the video is not there, so i go to full screen , and the image is there. But the video is in black and white and is kind of squashed up, i mean like the video is only there in half the screen. Can anybody tell me how to fix this? I have tried using different media players, but they still show like that. I have tried converting the file into different formats, but it still comes up like that. I hope somebody can help me with this problem. Cheers.

Maybe update your video drivers and make sure you're running DirectX 9c. It's probably a good idea to uninstall the old driver first. Try to roll back the driver if this is a fairly new issue....

Hey, my graphics card is pretty old. I do have the latest DirectX, and i update it whenever a update comes (monthly). I have uploaded my specs file of my comp, and in it it says that my graphics card is S3 Savage 2000, and that it has been stopped making newer drivers. So, can somebody plz help me. Cheers.

I did a re-install of XP and that seem to have fixed the problem. But one way I did have a "work around" was when it did that video thing, I'd just change wmp's from either full screen to another size, and that seemed to have fixed it...for that video.

8Ball... i did do a reinstall of XP, but that didn't fix it, so i then formated the drive and installed it all over again, but it still comes up again. I tried changing the screen size when it came up like that, but it didn't make a difference. Anyways, thanks for trying. I appreacite it. So, can anybody else plz help me? Cheers.
