Video Problem

Hey everyone,
Im having a problem with windows media player 10, this problem started out of nowhere....

The problem is when I want to watch a video, any kind of video, I can only hear the sound, but the screen is only shown like this:

I can view videos in youtube normally... I DL'd a codec pack for WinXP and nothing, ive been googling about this problem and couldnt find anything. I read something about updating my driver for graphics card (VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP) but the few drivers I found I couldnt install them...got error on them, and finding drivers for this card is almost imposible xD

Help is really appreciated.

 

First try downloading MP11

If that doesn't fix the problem, check your Device Manager
Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager
Does the it show a problem with the video adapter driver?


If the driver is there and showing no problem, try updating it.

Is there an active movie window anywhere ? If so, with the player open, under Options, Performance, Advanced, try unchecking the box next to Use High Quality Mode.
