Recently on LAN, a friend of mine installed Reforce and set my refresh higher then my monitor at home can handle. I attempted to lower the refresh rate through regedit but that didn't work. Any ideas?

If you're seeing something on the screen then the monitor can handle that refresh rate. If your monitor can't handle that refresh rate you'll either see nothing or a few lines across the screen.

Since you can see something there is no reason you can't just go into the normal windows controls and set the refresh rate lower if you really want to though.
