video resolution is out of range??

    i was on my computer today and kinda messing with the video setting when suddenly my screen went blank except for a little box that told my "pc video resolution is out of range" and that it recommend another setting. so i restarted in safe mode, changed the setting to what it said and when i restarted it still wouldnt let me see my desktop, i could heard that it was loading but that monitor wouldnt let me see! can anyone help me out?

    Boot into safe mode, and change back to the default 800x640. That should allow you to be able to boot back into normal boot. The reason that it is stating "Out of Range", is because you are trying to change the settings to something that the video monitor/video card is not able to handle.
