    Hi,
I have both Jet Audio and Nero Showtime with which to play a surveillance video, however there is only one small segment, less than 1 minute, from the video that I would like to copy in order to show law enforcement. Is there a way to do this and if so how? Thanks in advance.

If it's an AVI file, you can use Virtual Dub, or Kate's Video Cutter, or probably ZS4. ZS4 is more of a studio type of video editor and may be more than you need, but it may be exactly what you need. Anyway, all three programs are free and available here at MajorGeeks.
    Virtual Dub http://www.majorgeeks.com/VirtualDub__d5523.html
Kate's Video Cutter http://www.majorgeeks.com/Kates_Video_Cutter__d5680.html (can handle AVI, MPEG, MOV, MP4 and other formats)
    ZS4 http://www.majorgeeks.com/ZS4_d4825.html
Once you're done, you'd burn the resulting file to VCD/DVD for playback in a DVD player. If you get errors with VirtualDub that say something about the audio stream being incompatible due to bit rate (or VBR), use VirtualDub MP3Freeze, or perhaps VirtualDubMod. I'll post links to these if needed.
