    Hi,
    I'm trying to stay sane.
    My friend sent me a video & on playing it got an almost black screen with shadows for an image.
    Tried checking settings on the various players on my machine & all have the same effect.
    All jpegs are fine, tried different screen res. to no avail.
    The video was fine Sat.
    Any ideas?

    Managed to fix it myself.
    Seems that the video somehow ticked a few boxes in options. (thanks )
    Not sure how to delete the post however.
