    Hi everybody!
I probably have a trouble with my videocard (I've got GeForce MX-440). It shows black stripes from time to time, especially when I try to play games ("Heroes" are a complete disaster!). Could anybody give me advice?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for the video card, if not...check out the website of your vidoe card and download the latest driver to reinstall!!

    If that doesn't do it...

Make sure it is not the monitor...most likely not, unless it is from the dinasour ages and is just due to crap out any day, but a decent monitor will typically last just a couple days short of forever (atleast in my experiences).

    If not that, then...

Do you have the option to try a video card that you know for a fact is fine, like from a friends computer or a spare or something to that effect!?!? If so...do so. If you don't have access to a spare, and you've got the cash...most places will let you return a video card, no questions asked, as long as it is within the grace period with the reciept and all the packaging!! Obviously, if that fixes your problem, then I'm assuming you will keep it.
