OK, Im stupid. Ive been offline for over a year and a half and just came back with cable internet. My antique Micron Millennia is kicking up a fuss. Its a pentium III Mini Tower with Intel Pentium III Processor 733MHz, 128MB RAM, 3COM Ethernet Adapter with pre-loaded 2000.

On bootup, it loads way too much, but I cant seem to figure how to keep some things off and out of bootup, or help this thing stop from crawling and crashing.

It frequently runs very low on virtual memory, and I have FreeRam to try and help with this, but that, loading at startup along with Zonealarm, AVG, Roboform and Spybot Resident Shield, seems to overload it. It dies too often.

I have reset virtual memory to maximum 500, inital 250. The current registry is 35, max is 45.

What have i DONE and what do I DO???

    Im going crazy here.

Another thing, this doesnt seem to be spyware or linked to any virus. AVG Free reports none and I scan every other night. Also, my son and I are on one account but a router does connect us. he has the main cable internet box. I have the USB.

He plays online video games. Could this be interfering with my virtual memory somehow?
