Install more RAM. XP works best with 512 MB. I had 256 MB and had problems.

I have XP home, not Pro, but...

You can increase your virtual memory in windows explorer. Right click on My Computer and go to Properties/Advanced/Performance-Settings/Advanced.

Go down to the bottom where the box says virtual memory and click on change. Increase the VM. (it's called a paging file)

But 128 MB Ram is not enough, like Just Playin says. At least 512MB would be required.

Well, I wouldn't say 512 would be required. I've found WinXP works fine with 256. If it were me, I'd probably just get a stick of 256 to add in and get 384.

Of course, RAM is one of those things you just can't ever have to much of (except Windows 98/ME).
