Virtual Memory Settings

    Hi guys new to the forums, but I have a question. What is the best setting for my Virtual Memory in this situation:
    Pentium 4, 2.6 ghz CPU, 1.5 gb RAM. It says the recomended page file size should be 2302 mb, or should I just let the system manage it?? Please help

    It should at least the same size as the mount of RAM, if not double. 2GB is OK.

    not really I just dont understand exactly how it should be set up.

    load up task manager.. find the spot circled in red and make the number there your VM.
