Yes. Find the "My Computer" icon, right click, and go down to properties. Once there, go to the Advanced tab. Here you would need to click on the Settings under the very first set of options: "Performance". When there, click on the Advanced tab (again), then at the very bottom, it will give you the option to Change the settings of virtual memory. I would recommend letting windows manage this. You will, of course, have to reboot once you've changed these settings. Try that.

I neglected to mention that you need to have enough of hard drive space for virtual memory. At least another 128-256 MB or so, which shouldn't be a problem.

One other thing: 128 MB of RAM is very little for XP. If you can manage it, get some more (like another 128 MB stick) for that machine. It'll run better and be much less prone to crashes and slowdowns caused by Windows having to use that virtual memory extensively.

Oh, and welcome to Major Geeks, kimd!

I SO agree with Wisewiz. And I'm seeing this a lot on machines lately. A lot of the "bargain priced" computers seem to be hitting the shelves with XP and 128MB of ram. Out of the box it's all fine and dandy, but then when you start adding your programs in the computer, the memory is rapidly depleted.
I'd consider 256MB to be minimum with XP. Most of the "better" XP off the shelf machines, come with 512MB installed.

I'd go with 512mb, if you do lot of multi task stuff
