Are you running out of Hard Drive space? How much Free Space is left?

    What windows version?

First off close all none essential background running programs, Browser windows, Instant Messengers etc and see if you get the same message.... if so then follow the below,

The option next is to increase the amount of virtual memory you have allocated ( more so if you have at some point manually changed the settings )

XP settings for VM are located....
Right Click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Under Performance click Settings > Advanced tab > Change button at bottom and change the option to System Managed Size if its not already, or add a custom setting, multiply your installed RAM by 2.5 and then put that figure in the Min setting click apply and try again the game.

    Win98/ME
Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > double click System >
On the Performance tab, click Virtual Memory > and choose "Let Windows manage my virtual memory settings" > Apply

And how much REAL memory (RAM) do you have ? The more you haave the less you need to use virtual memory.

You can get this information on the system properties dialog. To access it, please do the following:

    1. Hit windows key + pause/break (Or right click My Computer and select 'Properties')

A window will appear, telling you what OS you have, what speed of CPU, and how much RAM is installed.

    You using Windows XP?

Did you try what I mentioned and setting the Virtual Memory back to "System Managed Size" or altering the Custom Min size to 768mb?

Also goto My Computer and right click on your C Dive and choose properties ( sometimes you can just click the C Drive and in the left menu bar under details it will tell you same info ) and tell us the free space?

I'll just refer you to this bottom two answers from me and Insomniac http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=96392

I'd try talking them into more RAM, if you can't get a new PC. :D
It really depends on the make, model, age and specs of your current PC, if that is a sensible proposition. Bazza
