I followed your basic spyware guide. It was most helpful. I feel so liberated!!!

I could not run the Trend Micro or the Norton online scans in safe mode because the programs said they needed activeX and ...scripts to be enabled.

I rebooted and ran the scans and Trend Micro found a "Trojan Drop A" virus. It can not be deleted because I get a message that it is "in use". My computer appears to operating okay. Please help. What is a tlb file?
    C:\windows\system32\HDK4acovbmuu.tlb

You should have supplied your OS. If TrendMicro told you the name of the file (and I assume they told you it was C:\windows\system32\HDK4acovbmuu.tlb), try booting in safe mode and then renaming the file (remaining is safe to begin with to make sure you don't need this file). You can delete it later if everything still works correctly after renaming.

A .tlb file is a runnable Type LiBrary. Also called Remote Automation OLE TypeLiB file.
