This is not a request for help just information
My computer was not letting me download microsoft update, was opening incorect seach results and opening virus warings pretenting to be microsoft.
All virus removel tool that I tryed did not find anything also all malware removal tool come up with nothing.
Reformating and crean install also had no result.
Taking it to a computer expert also had no result (he fornd the computer to be clean) taking it home and conecting it to the net the problem was still the same.
As a last resort I changed Modems and the problem is gone.

    Hi

Never seen a modem be the cause of malware fully, the OS (dont know what one used) would need to be infected or a webpage was infected, but without knowing the security scans used and seeing a comprehensive set of logs it would be hard, but rough guess is that the old modem did not have NAT or SPI firewall security whereas your new one does, but dont know models and makes of them either to 100% be confident.

Do know of one that infected via a modem/router Linux distributions in psyb0t malware.

It is probably a Modem/Router Combo and something happened in the Router's firmware.
