Anybody has any experience with running open source virus protection programs like Clamwin or Winpooch? I'm wondering whether they're secure enough for a regular household. I don't frequent any warez or, so I'm just wondering whether that kind of free protection is enough.
    Thank you for any help.

Maybe the most famous and reliable free antivirus software is Avast and AVG utilities. I use Avast free home version and it's enough for me not to worry about anything.
