Virus Protection

    I have recently picked up a new computer, and have installed the free version of zonealarm as a firewall. I have no virus protection however, and was wondering if anyone could recommend a free, or inexpensive download. I can't afford over $100 for Norton, or other store bought protection software.

    Avast. When it finds a virus it makes a big bad sound and gets your attention if you are elsewhere in the house.

    I've been using AVG free for almost a year now
    have'nt had any problems :)
