I have virus protection with NOD32 but I'm having doubts about how credible it is. I do not need virus protection, I just want something I can scan and remove viruses with... I know 95% of these 'online scanners' are BS that will just ask you to download their software after a scan has taken place, does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use?

Where in the world did you ever get that idea from? It is very far from the truth!

Below are just a few threats that are out there waiting for users with the "I don't need antivirus" attitude:

Again, very far from the truth.

These all remove what they find for FREE! Just be sure to use the scanner functions and don't get side tracked by the offers to sell you the software.
