Virus?

Hi everyone, i seem to have something wrong yet i have no idea what it is. Okay first off i have bit defender and it has done nothing to help. I go into my hd and there are all the default folders (program files, ect.) and then i get these other folders that have names all in the variation of "~SSDFE0005" these folders are filled with files that are named (o,oo,ooo,oooo,ooooo, and so forth) they seem to be just new files that have no data other than to take up space on my hd but when i try to delete these folders they come right back, i have enough space (dual 180gigs) but problems like this get on my nerves and anger me to no living end. If you could help me out or get me a link thatd be great, thanx!

 

maybe take a snapshot of the folder for us... open up the folder so we can see the files... click on the window so it's active, hold the Alt Key and hit the Print Screen button (to the right of the F12 key)... then open up microsoft paint paint, select edit, paste, and then save the file as a .jpg... you can then upload it as an attachment and give us a better idea of what types of files these are.... you can also select an individual file, right click, and go to properties... to see if it has any sort of signature or date created...
