Viruses

This may sound awkward, but...

I want.....a virus. More, actually.
Does anyone know where I can get some Windows viruses?
I want them for both evil, and not-so-evil purposes.
Well, viruses, or any other evil programs.
I already have some virus-ish programs, but I'm getting a new PC, and I want to execute every evil application possible on this one.

If this helps you: I know Turbo Pascal and I'll learn C++ soon.

Have you heard of the EICAR Test virus??

It's a non-destructive alternative to ACTUAL viruses.

If you want REAL viruses... just google "hardcore porn" or "video game cracks", and then download and execute everything you can. That'll do the trick!

 

if that's all you want go hunting around the P2P torrents i'm not so sure anyone here will purposefully give out viruses as the whole idea at MGs is to help get rid of them confused

 

Real viruses do have a way of getting out of control. How would you like your new computer to require a complete format and reinstall?

Matter of fact, while I don't have all the fact at my fingertips, some guy in the Phillipines was busted for releasing a virus he wrote about a decade ago. He claimes it was accidental, it might have been, but it caused a lot of damage, and he paid the price.

 

That's a good point!

Puposefully infecting your computer could cause it to start propagating the nasties to others, or participate in denial of service attacks, or allow remote users access to your files.

This may be fine for your own machines, but putting them on the internet is putting others at risk....
