    when testing viruses on windows xp what platforms would be of interese to test? Could they be tested on microsoft word, power point, excel etc. does anyone no were i could get a virus to test on these platforms as i need to document the effects that they have on these.

    appreciate any help

    Read up on them and what their effects are. Why you would want to test any virus when they are documented, is beyond me.

    Nobody here will be posting URLs for obtaining viruses.

    You definitely shouldn't have any problem finding a virus... just a little searching for progz or warez should give you some... as well as downloading software available on those sites... You may end up getting more than you bargained for, so just look for documentation like Adryn said.
