Vista and my Internet Connection

Right now I am having a serious problem with Vista and my Internet connection. It won't let me connect wirelessly (saying my router doesn't support the configurations of my computer) and it is connected through the LAN port directly to it and intermittently works. It seems to love Microsoft pages but selects which other pages it would like to display. For example it lets me come here, but doesn't let me logon (saying it could not get a connection).

It says it is connected for both Internet and Local and downloaded updates and the weather gadget works and updates fine along with the RSS feeds.

And some of the graphics are crooked on the pages (like someone smeared them with their finger across the middle)

My router has my PC shown as connected and the IP address on the configuration seem spot on to what they they should be. I did nothing but clean install Vista and update the LAN drivers.

I cannot find my Vista wireless drivers (I have a AMD 64 Socket 939 3000+, on a Asus A8V-E Deluxe (built in WAN), with a K8t890 chipset, 1 Gig of RAM, and a Radeon X800XL graphics card), so I don't know if that could be a problem.

I have not yet tried to plug my cable modem directly into my LAN port, but even then I want to run through the router because I have two laptops that need access to it.

    I have a D-Link DI-524 Wirless G Version c.1

I saw nothing on their site that would help this.

I am not sure if this belongs in Hardware or here but I need help.

Everything worked 100% before Vista came into play.

    Thank you!
