Vista Blue screen of death

    Have a Dell Dimension E521 running Vista

    Daughters have been playing a lot of Virtual Magic Kingdom

    Machine tied up, she went to control panel, got blue screen of death

    Tried Launch repair; last known good config; safe mode -still goes to blue screen

    Message STOP: 0X0000C1F5 (0X00000000, 0X00000000, 0X,00000000)

    Have had error message

    STOP: 0X0000XC1F5 (0X00000010, 0X00000008, 0X8677E000, 0X00000000)

    Bios 1.1.4 (12/09/06)
    AMD 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+
    2.6 GHz 1000 MHz clock 1MB L2 Cache 64 bit

    How do I apply the hotfix if I can't start windows? I downloaded the hotfix to my USB

    Do you have a disk or a CD-Rom in your PC currently? Try removing it, if you do, and see if Windows will start up. It sometimes happens to me.
