Vista download sort sequence.

I like to sort all my Folders in strict chronological sequence from latest to earliest.
Vista (apparently) shows downloads at 00.19 AM (nineteen minutes past midnight) as 12.19AM. There is no such time as 12.19 AM, only 12.19PM. I did alter my System Restore point size just after midnight, this morning (ie 00.19 hrs)

See thumbnails. 12.19AM one is the last download shown in the thumbnail. DOS box shows before and after altering System Restore space allocated.

Is this a bug? Bazza

 

Looks like more than one piece of software uses 12.31am for 31 minutes past midnight (example). I guess it might be optional. Any old seasalts out there, or aviators, than can throw some light on this for me. I was just downloading another file at 12.20am this morning just to make sure that Vista stores time as 12.20 am and not 00.20. It sure stuffs up sorting.

I've just remembered that you don't / shouldn't show "am" or "pm" if you express the time as 00.20, so I'll retire to my corner and shut up.

MG shows time as 00:30 for example. :cool Bazza

 

I dont think its a bug. Not a lot of people use military time, aside from...the military.

Its most likely a regional setting.
