Vista hardware problems

I have a MSI 959 pin motherboard,AMD 64 bit 3200 processor,B2C2 receiver card for satelite,G-Force 7300 video card,dvd rom,dvd burner.Iwas running XP service pack 2 and everything was ok most of the time.My hard drive was a 250 gig maxtor sata 16 meg push.(supposedly) It turned out to be a PATA.I had 3 hard drive crashes in a year.I replaced the hard drive with 2 WD 160 gig SATA's.Then I put Vista in with no problem until Itried to load my satelite software.Vista would not let it load saying incompatible.The saelite program is Server4pc,but can't find any updates,drivers or otherwise.Istill have XP2 and a second hard drive.ANY SUGGESTIONS!!!!! jodale
