Vista not showing after installing

After I complete the installation, it reboots and shows the mouse first and then the screen does not receive signal from the computer as in its in standby mode. Help me before I return it?

 

Can you get into safe mode? Might need to update video driver.

Did you leave the disk in the whole time? No special RAID setup? Did you run the Advisor first, not foolproof but can help.

 

Yes I left the disk on and I ran WGA before installing. And what RAID?

 

OK, you don't have RAID then, do you have a Dell or similar, I have a feeling you're missing a driver but it's just a guess.

 

I'm using a custom built computer(crappy though).

-Intel Celeron
-Radeon 9600 Series
-512 DDR RAM
