vista Nuke

I need to completely nuke my vista. I dont have the recovery disks, because this laptop was an xp, but was then upgraded to vista..but when I bought the pc, the guy didnt have the xp software. so all I have is the upgrade to vista primeum. my restore will only go back as far as yesturday. So is there anyway to nuke it back to a freash start of vista?

 

yea I did that, I am about to sell this laptop, and go with a macbook pro..So i need to swipe it. so im guessing this might be a pain in the butt to do.

 

If you want to just wipe it without installing an operating system, there's plenty of free tools right here at MG that should meet your needs. Look in the Drive Utilities section, and/or in the Drive Cleaners section.

well I dont want to wipe it so that there is no operating system on it, I just want it set back to basic vista with no user files uploaded. I have the disk to upgrade from vista home to vista premium, but not original os, because I bought this pc used.
