I have a work computer that has Vista on it, and it came with an annoying partition. Is there any way to get rid of the partition and make it one main C drive? I have tried using Windows Disk Utilities to remove it but was unable to. I have looked around and could not find any solutions.

Also, where is the search button on the forums? I swear I must be blind because I looked for a good 5 minutes.

Search button is text here under your logon name and 3rd from the right.

You may have to use a partitioning tool to get rid of that small partition windows created. Windows always create a small one.

    er, what??

Anyway, pretty sure the OP is talking about the recovery partition.

You can resize partitions with Vista--

Note that if it is a recovery partition, you will not be able to restore the original image unless you have it on CD/DVD media.
