vista password help

Have inherited a Dell E521 with Vista, unfortunately did not get the password with it and there is no reset disk or data to speak of. Is this a lost cause and should just throw the pc away?

 

You could always use the restore disc if you have it to restore the default os state. But no don't throw out pc cause you can't get the password. Thats a bad idea anda waste of a pc.

 

i have no restore disc or anything just the pc itself.

 

we bought my daughter a new laptop and she set a password now she can not remember it can anyone tell me how to bypass or restore.. i am used to xp vista is a whole new world
