Vista problems

Hi
I have posted this before but am still having issues with Vista.
Number 1. every now and then IE wants to work offline for no reason (so does mozilla) I cannot understand why and each time I unclick work offline I can browse again untill it comes up again (I am now using the latest IE version and still have this issue).
Number 2. I cannot get vista to recognise my belkin s2w 4300u scanner or my epson stylus R210 printer and have managed to load the scanner onto the harware tab but if I open mirascan software it doesnt see the scanner and just closes.
Any advice on these issues and what updates I should be loooking for?
Also my AVG software is out of date can I update this or get a new package? if so which one?
sorry if these have been discussed before but this Vista is taking alot of fun outof my pc experience.
I also have a dual channel tv card that has not worked since I got the pc and I cannot work out why or how to fix it. I think its a winfast card but I'll have to have a look for the box and get back on this one.

What I would suggest for first issue with the IE/Firefox in Work Offline. Try running both in Safemode, (to run ie, go "Start, Run, iexplore /safe") . Try that, also, do you have outlook.exe running in the background or Outlook in general that works offline often?

Second, did you look to see if on Epson/Belkin's drivers can be found for vista on their websites, also did you try and look to see if there is any conflicts (? or !) in your device manager.

Last, please find more information about your Dual Channel TV Card, even a Code/Number off of the physical card, and we should be able to find the drivers and hopefully get it working on your vista.
