Hi, I'm new here and have a problem to resolve.
I have a fairly new Toshiba Satellite with Vista Home Premium. I live in Thailand with a SLOW internet connection and download a lot. Recently I have been downloading videos from Utube..after a month of this my computer starts shutting down by itself and sometimes restarts saying it shut down improperly and I need to reboot in safe mode...it repairs the start up and I go.

It says I have a corrupted tfsysmon.sys driver.

Would this cause the shutdown? It is hot here and I use a fan cooler stand and a fan on the computer. I keep my updates current.

I googled the tfsysmon and found a place to get a new driver.

    What do you recommend?
