Vista RC2 due this Friday

yup Vista RC2 is due this Friday. This is the last build before Vista goes to the manufacturers aka RTM. The build info is 5744.16384.061003-1945.

MS took the page down sometime last evening EST. It only pointed to RC1 at any rate. I'll believe it when I see it downloading. It was only supposed to be a limited distribution though MSDN and Connect people will get it first according to the page I saw and the limited CPP after that. We'll see tomorrow or not.

 

correct augie. RC2 is only a limited release and isnt available to the masses. BUT that doesnt stop us obtaining RC2 does it

 

No it doesn't as I'm a member of Connect. Seriously, I hope there is more native support for peripehrals. I'll try it as a third boot just to see if it does. Otherwise, I'll just stick to 5728, as this is a very stable build and I'll use it as my main OS 'till it expires in the end of May I believe, or I'll buy it.
